How do you make biodegradable wipes?

Biodegradable wipes are a great alternative to traditional wipes that can take years to decompose in landfills. They are also a more eco-friendly option for those who are concerned about the impact that their daily habits have on the environment. Here's how to make your own biodegradable wipes at home:

Materials:

- A roll of paper towels
- A container with a lid that seals well
- 1 tablespoon of castile soap
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon of witch hazel
- 10 drops of essential oil (lavender, tea tree, or lemon work well)

Instructions:

1. Cut the paper towel roll in half using a sharp knife.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the castile soap, coconut oil, witch hazel, and essential oil.

3. Pour the mixture into the container.

4. Place half of the paper towel roll into the container, cut side down.

5. Pour water over the paper towel roll, making sure to saturate it completely.

6. Put the lid on the container and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the mixture to soak into the paper towels.

7. Carefully remove the cardboard core from the center of the paper towel roll.

8. Pull the wipes from the center of the roll as needed.

9. Store the container in a cool, dry place.

Biodegradable wipes are an easy and affordable way to reduce your environmental footprint. You can customize the essential oils and other ingredients in this recipe to suit your personal preferences.
