Silicone cord offers the ability to create custom length gaskets and joined O-rings with the unique characteristic of silicone rubber. Silicone is the preferred material choice for the food, beverage and medical industries due to its low-toxicity, thermal stability and resistance to micro-bacterial growth. Its ability to remain flexible at extreme temperatures makes it suitable for conditions ranging from -60°C to 230°C.
